By that I mean the player guides a line of mindless stick figures marching across a stage, and it's your job to get them safely around hazards and traps. Sticklings is a lot like Lemmings, or Chu Chu Rocket, if you're a fan of obscure SEGA puzzle games.
MACHINARIUM 5 IN A ROW CHEAT SERIES
with a control scheme that's definitely not confusing at all, navigate your character through a series of circular hazards. a circular platformer about the beauty and joy of infinitely running around in circles for some reason.

Circle Affinity is free with ads and IAP according to the dev, but I can't find them so far.Ĭircle affinity is a love letter to circles. It's one of those twitchy games that revels in its simple difficulty. At irregular intervals the beat drops, making the whole screen fill up with hazards. Jump at the right time and you'll start running around the inside, wherein you can jump to the outside of another circle. But that doesn't really sell it: you play as a little man who runs left or right outside a circle.

Customise your character with unlockable themes and avatarsĬircle Affinity is, broadly, a platforming game.Daily endless mode : One new level every day.70+ Hand crafted levels (new levels added every month).Hard to master levels that will test your muscle memory, concentration and sanity. One More Jump is a hand-crafted intense arcade platformer from the team that brought you One More Line and Thumb Drift. Ads can be banished for just over two dollars. (Watch the video to get the gist.) It's a surprisingly compelling casual game with 70 levels included in the free download. The hook comes from the game's surface system: the dot jumps in a sort of orbital path around the platforms, sticking to white surfaces but being killed by everything else. One More Jump is pretty simple as far as platformers go: tap to make the auto-running square jump, grab coins, avoid obstacles. Make sure you avoid other teams cards and bombs or you may lose. Teams then use the hint to uncover their cards before the other teams. A Chromecast is the Game Board and the Captain provides a single word hint and how many cards that hint relates to on the Game Board. In Heist, two or three teams compete to reveal their teams cards first. Team up and compete to see who's better, Cops, Robbers, or Bankers. Heist is a board game for your living room and is played with Chromecast.

The game is free to try with a $3 in-app purchase for the full unlock. Two modes are available, words or pictures, making Heist appropriate even for teams with young children. The point is to turn over your team's cards without revealing the opposing cards. This new one has an interesting premise: teams of "cops," "robbers," and "bankers" try alternately to steal or protect a bank's cash stash. There was a glut of board- and card-style games for the Chromecast a few years ago, but it's slowed since. Solve puzzles, defeat wicked monsters and reveal bulby's abilities to unfold a twisted tale. Bulb Boy is an intuitive 2D point & click horror adventure about a boy with a glowing head (alright, it's a bulb.) inspired by Machinarium and Gobliiins.

Gather the courage and use his glass head to save everything he loves. His family has disappeared and there are horrid monsters lurking in the shadows. One gloomy night, Bulb Boy wakes suddenly from a frightening nightmare to discover that evil has overshadowed the Bulbhouse.

It's not for the faint of heart, but at least it's cheap at $2.50 with no in-app purchases.

You play as an animate light bulb who can use his electric head to solve logic puzzles and (hopefully) banish a collection of Cronenbergish nightmares from your house. The incongruity of art style and tone, where players will often die in gruesome, horror-filled animated sequences, reminds me of The Binding of Isaac. Don't let the cutesy, Kirby-style character design of Bulb Boy fool you: this point-and-click adventure game is straight freaky.
